Automated External Defibrillation (AED)

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death in the United States, claiming approximately 350,000 lives each year. When SCA strikes, seconds can mean the difference between life and death. For each minute that defibrillation is delayed, the survival rate of the victim decreases by 10%. The key is to be quick!

OSHA encourages AED placement in all businesses to save the lives of workers who experience cardiac arrest. (www.osha.gov)
